In this written piece by Michael Phillips how times have drastically changed can be seen with ease, he speaks of how throughout his entire life no matter what the weather he would leave his home to watch movies for pleasure. In this day and age many people stay in to watch movies and really put no effort into seeing a movie outside of the home. People buy dvds, use Netflix, and other things to exert as little effort as possible when trying to view a film but I slightly agree with Michael in the idea that one should put forth some type of effort in order to get pleasure... no matter the weather.
