This particular song lyric was one discovered when listening to a Pandora station. I had never heard the song before and haven't heard it since but this repeating phrase from the chorus stuck with me. Adopting this attitude seems useful to me. To say that I can be totally content while being totally alone is a goal that I hope to someday reach. College is a good place to sort of test this out. I feel like if you look for connections, you'll find them. Loneliness is a state of mind, not a state of being.
