Two years ago photographs were taken of an "uncontacted" tribe in Brazil. They are one of the few uncontacted tribes left. Newer pictures were recently taken of this tribe and they confirmed that the tribe is still "well and strong". Issues with deforestation, property rights, and many others are a threat to this tribe's way of life and several organizations have been created to protect their way of life.
