According to Leslie Allen of National Geographic noises that humans have been transmitting into the ocean are proving to be harmful to many marine animals. Marine animals use noises to communicate with each other as well as much more and if manmade noise is overpowering theirs how can they survive? Many ways that humans have been disrupting marine animals have been around for a long time and although they were once not so disruptive they have become increasingly bad for underwater life due to the ocean's new ability to conduct sound better because of the burning of fossil fuels. Many steps can be taken to reduce the amount of noise people create in the ocean but it just boils down to how much people actually care about keeping marine life safe and healthy.
