It is a really unique and original idea to use one’s organic odor to represent self-portrait. It would be much more interesting if the artist has combined the smell with other senses instead of just representing her collection of odors. Also, the work of art seems to be only meaningful to the artist. It would be more interactive if the artist represents a documentary of her process collecting her essence. There are many elements that compose one’s body odor. Body odor is like a one’s path. For example, the artist could represent ingredients of tears Or the artist can extend this project to a public project such as “what makes everyone smell unique?”
